Custom Electric Guitars and Basses, Made by Hand
Repairs, Setups, Fret Work on Acoustics and Electrics

About

I have been playing guitar and bass for 40+ years. Facinated by the instrument, I also had a desire to build guitars, which I started doing 18-years ago. I am mostly self taught, except for some time I spent at the Summit School of Guitar Building learning to do fret work and setups, an invaluable education.

My philosphy is simple: a guitar should feel good in your hands, sound good when you hear it and look good when you see it. Each of these factors will inspire you to play. The more you play, the more enjoyable it becomes, and that is time well spent.

I build guitars that inspire me to play. Maybe one will inspire you too.

FAQ

  • What does made by hand mean? It means most of the building process is done with hand tools and 2 hands.
  • Do I use power tools? Sure, a band saw, router, palm sander, drill press and such. These along with rasps, files, chisels, hand saws and lots of sandpaper get the job done.
  • Why a custom instrument? A one of a kind unique guitar is built with care and attention to detail that you can feel and appreciate.
  • Can I get a custom guitar? Sure, contact me and let me know what you want in a guitar. Maybe I already have one you would like or maybe I can build one for you.
